Hello All,
I was amazed to find an old video of myself wrestling at Blackpool Winter Gardens with Bobby Barron's daughter, Sarah Robbins on You Tube. It was wonderful to watch it and it brought back some fabulous memories. That was the only time Sarah and I worked together as I was always paired with Tracey Kemp. We worked together every Saturday and Sunday at the Horseshoe Showbar on the Pleasure Beach. We made the centre pages of a Scottish paper as the first female wrestlers in Kirkcaldy and felt like celebrities - I can add this to this thread if anyone is interested to see it. I also have photos of us wrestling in Blackpool. Unfortunately Bobby passed away and Tracey became pregnant so I didn't have a partner to wrestle or make any progress with. I hoped Brian Dixon might pick me up but there didn't seem to be any interest. My wrestling career just fizzled out as I was gaining my confidence in the ring and I always regret that it didn't go any further. I absolutely loved my time in the ring and feel very proud that I experienced it. Perhaps I should make a come back?!?!
I am absolutely loving every second of my training but yes, it’s hard work. Lots of aches and pains, grazes etc. but it will be worth it to get back in that ring at least one more time.
Big News!!!
I’m making a comeback!!
I’m currently training in Blackpool and hoping to be back in the ring in February.

Hi Sarah, I hope you see this. We run the YouTube channel that your video is on. We pay a company to restore old rare match recordings and share them online. Would you ever be interested in filming an interview? There's not much information about that time particularly from the women's division and i'm sure people would love to hear your story. We are on most social media as British Bombshells Women's Wrestling if you would like to get in touch?
Here's the Cowgirl in The Gazette

So I went to see the wrestling poster at Showtown Museum with my name on this afternoon, and had a good chat with Richard from the Blackpool Gazette about my (far too brief) time in the ring. It was wonderful to share some of my memories with him.
Hi Sarah, I'm not sure if you're already aware of this, but I was in the new Showtown museum in Blackpool today and what looks to be the poster for the show where you wrestled Sarah is on display in there! Top of the bill was a tag bout with Kendo Nagasaki and the Million Dollar Man vs. Johnny Saint and Animal:Legend of Doom. There's also a short tribute to (and photo of) Bobby courtesy of the Kashmir Kid (who was also on the bill and I'm guessing may have supplied the poster).
Still got Bobby’s business card 32 years later ❤️
It's a lovely story Sarah and in their own way such stories are a vital part of wrestling history. Thanks.
When were you wrestling Sarah? Who trained you, and how did it all come about?
Give it a go Cowgirl. Welcome to Heritage, and do share some of your ring memories.
Here you are. Yes, it would be interesting to see your newspaper cutting.
