I don't think he ever came to the UK, but he did wrestle in Europe in the early 70's.
Beyer was a college wrestler who turned pro in the 1950's and wrestled all over the world as the masked "Destroyer".
He met our own Billy Robinson in Hawaii, when Robinson was over there with Peter Maivia, it was Beyer who suggested to Robinson that he should try his hand in the USA, and made the call to Verne Gagne , who booked Billy in his AWA promotion.
