Wrestling survived on a fine thread of believability. The protagonists were tough guys engaged in physical combat. The logistics were enormous and ongoing on a daily basis with rings and wrestlers being transported over long distances. Egos could bruise.

But I'm just wondering what did go wrong?
We all know about the double crosses, from Peter Preston/Mick McManus downwards. We know about collapsing rings and wrestlers absconding with championship belts.
What else went wrong?
