Dear Friends,
attaching the Bury 1849 map it shows the Adam Ridings' pub called 'The Lancashire Wrestler' (former 'The Golden Cup', as some locals claim). To the best of my knowledge it was owned by the Meadowcroft Family (another famous 'rasslin' dynasty of East Lancashire). Pub is located on the intersection of 4 streets: Moor Gate, Moor Side, Water Street and Paradise Street. I am trying to find out what is currently located at that address? Would highly appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks in advance.
