Well also from My Extensive BELLE VUE Archives I have Plucked My Below Original 10" x 8"

BLACK/WHITE Photo from the Mid 1930's and Taken behind the scenes at KINGS HALL!

Of course the Central Figure is The Lovely KATHLEEN LOOK- The Operations Director and

BRITAIN's First Lady Promoter!!

But The Mystery is WHO are the 3 Wrestlers Flanking her??-And WHO are the 2 Guys

Book-Ending This Group of 6?

The Photo was Taken by a DAILY MAIL Photographer- Stated on rear!-but Annoyingly NO

Mention of The Names in the Line-Up!!

I haven't Looked into Identifying them Myself yet-Can the Brilliant RON help here?

The Man on the Extreme Left could be a Trainer/Ring Guy/Referee and The Man on the

Extreme Right could be an M.C./Timekeeper/Booking Office Manager??

Had confirmation from Mike Hallinan that the guy on the left is Reginsky.

More of a light heavy I think but good enough to top the bill with bigger guys.

Five nine , I believe.

I think this effort might be right.

Great photo Adrian , it should have sat in my Belle Vue series. Wonderful times for Belle Vue 1937 with Miss Look packing the Kings Hall out.

Whatever the arrangement she kept herself in the press and Oakeley out of it.

Very much Osty , brilliant and without reading your second post above , I quickly searched the same thing out.

WE are pretty sure of Muir and De Groot and I have backed Reginsky and now you have identified the Marques.

Funnily enough Dave Armstrong is on this bill , but Bernard has made the point about his eyesight and glasses. Take away the glasses , this is his youth . Can he be the man in the Suit. Pat Flanaghan , James Mooney and Demchek look to be other possibilities.

Does anyone fancy Demchuk as the man in the suit. Good build on him .

I still lean towards Armstrong but not certain. The insight around the glasses is good but this is a posed publicity photo, so I don't think wrestlers would wear glasses on that occasion. I haven't seen a photo of Gomez (Martinique billing so unlikely) or Mooney (who is billed at 6' 3").

Who am I to cast doubt on the thoughts of you more clever people?

Just to say that I saw Dave Armstrong from the 1950's and never saw him out and about without spectacles. He was very short-sighted.

Still thinking and looking and found a couple for Ost.

I think all five men are wrestlers , only Kath Look as an official.

Can only think the guy dressed on the outside left is Reginsky. Think he is bald although shadow on top of head.

WE are going to kick ourselves on the guy outside right in the suit. I feel he is a big player. At first I checked out Krauser's photo....not him and other big names. Maybe does have a look of Dave Armstrong though if not a tourist.

Inside right ,he seems small but had a massive push for a while as European champion. Twist my arm for a guess , Rik de Groot.

Inside left , I expected a bit more muscle but not much weight training in these times.

Wondered about Bert Mansfield but that face , maybe Bonnie Alan Muir.

The middle man of the five , not much idea , Clem Lawrence , King Curtis but I doubt it because I am looking at the Belle Vue shows for 37,38,39. (What did Estelles look like ??)

Brilliant Adrian. Will have to have a real good look tomorrow. The guy on the left , I get the feeling he is Reginsky and the guy on the right , I will think about yet but maybe one of the European champions.
