A TRIBUTE TO MARTIN 'CHOPPER' CONROY!!

We All know MARTIN CONROY!-A Wrestler of not inconsiderable Skill around the HEAVY-

MIDDLEWEIGHT Bracket in his own right in the 1940's!-He Worked for ARTHUR WRIGHT

and was a very Loyal Servant of WRYTON PROMOTIONS for at least 25 Years and was still

Wrestling himself in 1960!!-In his other 'Role' he was also a very well-known Referee in the

1950's/1960's/ and 1970's at many of the Top Wrestling Arenas-including the Iconic KINGS

HALL BELLE VUE!

I saw him many times-and he was always very Smartly Dressed-often with a Dickie-Bow-

and very Professional!-At WRYTON STADIUM BOLTON-One of my Regular 'Haunts'-he did

a lot of MC Work as well!-In my view MARTIN was a Fabulous Ambassador for the Sport of

Wrestling and a very Important Personage for WRYTON!
