I only saw him once at Norwich Corn Exchange, a bloody match with Danny Lynch. Later that evening they were together having a drink in a pub in Blofield. Danny had a bandage on his head 😀
Paul ("Aaron") is still going strong. I was at an event with him this August.
Very vague memories around the 1971 date.
My memory is how I regarded the Who's Who as an absolute bible in 1971. I pored over all those fascinating northen wrestlers I'd never heard of - Vince Gyungi, Yorkie Walker (what a photo). In the case of Aaron Stone, I thought my turn would come since he was a Kentish Man. But no, disappeared into thin air.
From what I read here, I suspect money was involved to give him the big push and inclusion.
According to newspaper reports his dad revived the Rochester Casino and by the 1990's Arron Stone was a Director. They brought back a lot of Cabaret.
Body Beautiful Persona it seems.
Here's a photo from Dave Cameron's collection. Not one i'd seen anywhere else.
