Following on from ANGLO'S Comment on my GALALAND Feature!-Here's his New Hero
again! Billed as the 'Film Star' Wrestler-According to RON-He was a Bald and Stocky Guy!
We need a Photo of 'ANGEL FACE''!-Maybe MR. OST can help?
His Nickname always reminds me of that 1938 JIMMY CAGNEY Movie!....

The bills give few clues, but since Angel Face was opposing a 19-stoner he was clearly a heavyweight.
In the past I have seen Arthur Ricardo introduced as Terance but never from Blackpool.
This is something I checked in the past, and found no record of a Joe Batten in any George Formby films (although I probably didn't check every single one), so it could be that he had a bit part so small, it was never recorded.
The same goes for our old (or I guess new) friend, Cocky Chick Knight, who doesn't appear in film listings either.
Thank you Main Mask! Another pearl to winkle out.
The concept of an Easter Holiday continies to intrigue me with the Whit Tuesday bill being part of the Easter Holiday. Unusual by today's standards.
The Sutton prices seem high for wartime - GaLaLand was costing less than half.
JIMMY CAGNEY never actually said 'You Dirty Rat'! on Film!!
