For the sake of accuracy, Edward Woodwood... was known as "Ted"!
There is a present day Billy Wood who promotes events in Wolverton and Hastings
I have a book on catch-as-catch can written by E.J Harrison and Billy Wood, wood is referred to as a former world champion in the book. It is one of the old foulsham guides
