We are All very Familiar with that Iconic Wrestling Mecca-WIMBLEDON PALAIS-
but there was also ANOTHER PALAIS outside of LONDON which was a very Popular
Venue and which had a particularly Successful Year in 1966 in terms of Quality Shows and
Sell-Out Houses!-The PALAIS at PETERBOROUGH!
Anyone who was Someone in Wrestling had regular Bouts at this 'Posh' Hall!!

JACKIE PALLO were Frequent Performers here.
Also PETER RANN and MIKE MARINO 'popped-up' fairly often and particular efforts were
made to Showcase Wrestlers from Overseas especially in Tag-Team Action!
Aside from the Football Club-the PALAIS was the Leading Sporting Venue in the Town in
this 'Peak' Year and a Fantastic Nite Out was to be had every THURSDAY at the Wrestling!
