Got a feeling Saxon Senior was Charnock.
By the war Boratti is never seen again.
Also goes under the name of Luigi Boratti or even Bert Boratti.
Thought for a long time it could have been a disillusioned Bert Assirati getting his Lancashire training , but one time I found Boratti and Assirati on same bill.
A photo would clinch it.. Great stuff though MM
