Good morning happy campers.
2018 saw the release of "Walk Like A Panther". what happened to it, did it get shown in many cinemas... I gather the film only earned £270k at the box office. not really enough to encourage anybody else to make a film about wrestling.
if any of you was to make a film about wrestling what would be different to make the general public go and see it.
was this film meant to be a tax right off
the film is available on Youtube and Amazon Prime if anybody is interested
I think TV would be a better medium, on Netflix, "GLOW" did quite well, not seen it myself, but based upon US women wrestlers of the 1980's. I also read recently that a new TV series (again in the US) is being made, called "Heels", about two wrestling brothers, one who plays the good guy in the ring and one who plays the bad guy, who are involved behind the scenes in a power struggle to take over their Fathers wrestling promotion, after he dies.
