He was very 'over' in Australia in the 60s. On my last trip to Hawaii, I met an old timer who was a church official and after telling him about my quest, to give a photo I had taken of 'Da Bull' as Hawaiians' knew him, some four decades before, to one of his family members, he said I might be interested to know that he had officiated at Billy's wedding, actually marrying the couple. Needless to say, I was interested!

RIP Adnan Al-Qaisi lead babyface in Saddam Hussein's state-run, gunpoint-booked Iraq wrestling promotion in the 1970s. One of two pro wrestling territories in the Middle East along with Rafael Halperin's promotion in Israel in the 60s/70s.:
Andre the Giant and George Gordienko both jobbed to Adnan because Saddam threatened to shoot them if they didn't. This time it was Ian Campbell.
pretty sure Morecambe John hated villain tag just not him ,poor matchmaking,John such a genuine guy his push after stateside was botched ,totally positive in dressing room

Sad news.great as both The Sheik and Billy White Wolf.RIP
Sorry to hear this news. Fifty or so years ago, I remember Billy Whitewolf wrestling "Big" John Cox at either Morecambe or Preston.
Cox, that night, made the most unconvincing ring villain I've ever seen.
I'm sorry to hear this. As I've contributed previously, I think his TV outing as Adnan Al-Kaissie against Lenny Hurst is an outstanding piece of work.
RIP Billy
He was a fantastic talent whatever ring character he used.R.I.P. Billy White Wolf.
