In the early 1950's an Overseas Visitor arrived on our Shores who adopted an all-action
hell for leather Style of Wrestling in our Rings!-RED KIRKPATRICK was always getting into
trouble with Referees seeming to prefer Wrestling to 'ALL IN' Rules and he had a habit of
not wanting to 'break' when told by the Ref!-Although not a Giant KIRKPATRICK was a
solid and stocky Wrestler who although he could Wrestle was much happier when 'Mixing'
it! He was easily identifiable with his two inward facing BLUEBIRD TATTOOS on his Pecs!
He spent a lot of 1951 Wrestling up and down the Country and one of his HI-LITE Bouts
was against the Awesome-at that time-COUNT BARTELLI at the VICTORIA HALL in
HANLEY!-RED didn't Win that one but gave a good account of himself!
Did BERNARD ever see RED KIRKPATRICK Live?

Thanks again Hack.
The more we think we know, the less it proves to be, as it turns out.
I would have thought that Ernie Baldwin would have been the heavyweight on that list.
