Looks like the two opened the show, which had some heavy hitters including, Wladyslaw Talun and Wladek Zbyszko. Steve Casey successfully defended his AWA World title against Danno O’Mahoney.

Not going to get anywhere with that
I think Bob has probably gone as far as he’s able to with this hold. I don’t see him laying on his back, with his opponent held suspended above him, ala George’s version.
George Kidd was the first one that I saw use this. Generally a submission, because it was awkward to unravel.
Always announced as a reverse surfboard.
