Would love to know more about the Bradford Olympia in the 1930's.
Maybe one of our Yorkshire guys can add. What was the capacity in particular.
George Rel senior was along with Bankier a promoter who started many territories that grew the game once it had sorted it's direction out in the first part of the 1930's.
At a time when George Rel was starting up many Scotland venues , I suspect that I may have found the jewel in his crown in Bradford.
Almost every top man wrestled for him. Penchef , Krauser , Sherry , Daula , Ed Strangler Lewis , King Kong , Fazal the Flower , Danno O'Mahony , The Angel and many more from over the waters.
Doug Clark also was a Relwyskow man and maybe the only exception was perhaps Bert Assirati who it seems never worked for Rel Senior. (Wonder what went on there)
So it is Friday nights at the Olympia back in the 1930's. Three galleries.
At the moment on this link.

Would love to have seen this one. Was it kidology or was this really the first meeting with Doug and Krauser. Unfortunately I don't have the result. probably a draw as Clark on home patch was fighting a younger star. For me Krauser was the Gordienko of the 1930's.
Just found the Clark / Krauser match which finished out of the ring with Clark (shoulder) and Krauser (Ribs) injured.
