A simple question were cage matches and chain matches considered a good idea. Only saw one chain match it was between Danny Collins and the Mongolian Mauler and was not fussed about seeing another. The nearest I got to a cage was you tube footage of Kendo and Bob against Marty Jones and Danny Collins, it did not look very appealing.

The Wrestle Carnival Promotion is having a Cage Match only event at the Portland Centre in Nottingham later in the year
I seem to recall the Tory MP Graham Bright asking a Commons question about a planned chain match in Luton. It's definitely in Hansard - mid-80s, I think.
not usually good matches, wrestling generally comes second to the gimmick be it chain, strap, ladder, cage, hardcore etc. A good hard, even violent match can be good without gimmicks, those type of stipulation matches distract from actual wrestling.
Both chain matches and cage matches were seen as a way of bringing back some controversy in a very stale period
