Unlike ladder matches I quite enjoyed some of these. The entire wrestlers on the card would act as lumberjacks outside the ring to ensure those in the ring could not vacate or escape from the ring. That is,the lumberjacks would haul them back in if they came out.Your memories and comments please.

If memory serves me right Ron it may have been Kendo vs Haystacks with Mal Kirk providing lumberjack ring interference.
Saw it at BelleVue , I think Kendo brought it back from Stampede.
I guess it could be another form of "Fight to a Finish".
It was o.k.
If you want a finish then you have to accept no DQ's and then the wrestlers have to look believable , another form of what they call today Hardcore..... almost.
From what I saw , the loser had a way out . He could say he was only beaten because of lumberjack interference.
Can't be that memorable because I can't remember who fought in the match.
I have seen a couple and found them hit and miss. A lot of the outside stuff was quite often missed purely because of the lumberjacks blocking the view of the spectators
We've just noticed that this poor forlorn post has gone almost a year without any attention. Any takers?
