Not sure All in Wrestling was "exclusively working class" in the 1930s.In the biography of of the fascist Unity Mitford she and other upper class cohorts attended matches at Blackfriars.Also almost from the start of BBC TV in 1936 some matches were broadcast.The few hundred viewers with TVs were far from working class at that time
As I mentioned on another thread, Carver Doone turned up in a list of wrestling matches in South America, where he toured with a troupe of wrestlers, headed up and promoted by one of the famous Zbyszko brothers.
