This is not a real clipping. This is a screenshot from the Dan Koloff movie, where they had put together a bunch of made-up headlines/articles to insert in the movie. This particular headline is not factually wrong (it says that Koloff defeated Deglane in Paris, which he did, twice), but it's just not a real article published in a real Bulgarian newspaper back in the day.
No. He was supposed to wrestle Pojello on one occasion in Montreal in 1929, but on the day of the show Pojello was substituted with another wrestler. Then in 1937 in France Pojello was issuing challenges to Koloff, Deglane and other top stars, but at that point Pojello was an outsider (i.e. he wasn't working for the main French promotion) so the challenges went nowhere.
Koloff never wrestled in the UK. On a couple of occasions in the mid to late 1930s the Bulgarian press reported Koloff was in talks and planning on wrestling in the UK, but he never did.To the best of my knowledge he was in the UK only on one occasion (January 1936), but he was just passing through on his way back to Europe. He landed at Plymouth and from there traveled to the mainland.Koloff and Sherry wrestled each other in the U.S. on a couple of occasions, including a supposed 3-hour draw in Reno in 1920. I say supposed because Sherry referenced the match in a couple of different U.S. interviews back then and reportedly even showed the reporter a clipping about the match, but I haven't been able to verify that match definitely took place. I've also come across an unverified claim that Koloff and Sherry once had a private gym match, a shoot, where Koloff made short work of Sherry. This would have been in the U.S. in the 1920s. But again, this is not confirmed.
Interesting question. I notice The wrestlingdta.com site has not picked him up in the UK. I don't seem to have any bills with him on in any of his various guises.
Karl Pojello & Heinrich Froehner were around the same time European wrestling champions as Dan Koloff. Did they ever meet Dan?

Yes Dan was one of the top heavyweights around Europe at the time. Might have been a great match between him and Jack Sherry.
