I had always considered Dale Martins as a load of wrestlers, MCs and referees and a handful of old men in the office.

Paul's explanation is fascinating in that the organisation was much wider spread and had more staff.

So Paul, if you were Steve Viedor or Bill Torontos or Brian Maxine or Johnny Czeslaw or Charlie Fisher or Steve Logan any of those long-term trusties, what other duties did you have apart from your nightly 25 minutes?

,Dales office when at Brixton road was a hive of activity and yes some of the lads appeared to be fixtures Billy Toronto's was usually about I was never sure what he's was doing a bit like when in ring against him but everyone liked puffing Billy. Charlie Fisher at one point seemed to be involved in what we now called logistics but also kept careful eye on rival promotions,I got gossip like most did from the camp guy who started most conversations with you'll never guess what so and so did and said.I was lucky because Mick seemed to like and trust me,plus even though I found the politics interesting wasn't into passing on info on what the dastardly northern promoters were doing.Mike Marino on other sites gets bad press for matchmaking but in fairness he did not have the same wealth of talent of earlier days.Steve Veidor always brought in for press photo ops which seemed to annoy some .
