When we are talking websites, this is possibly the worst news a wrestling fan could receive. That some (or much) of the history we've been lucky enough to be able to study and learn, will be lost, is particularly sad. (Ron's results/posters) are just one case in point, as coincidentally I'm in the middle of trolling through the latter, as well as any and all other results in the 'Gallery' for a current project and I've probably got until the end of the month to complete it.
I'm indebted to all the members who have contributed to Heritage and I hope that all goes well in the (near) future for the website. We all should give a big thank you to the RIOT SQUAD, for allowing us a portal to bygone days. As Will Shakespeare said "It's been a blast' (So Far).
And now on with the show....Recently celebrated at Heritage. The blood baths that were the ongoing Assirati, Stezycki show.
That's a real shame, hopefully we can preserve the galleries & the A-Z. I have found the galleries to be a bit temperamental to use lately, might be my browser though. Was just looking through some of Ron's yesterday.
I have obviously missed something here, is the site closing down?
Pallo v McManus Bills
Toying with ideas for sharing. Not tried this before.
In the link , some Pallo v McManus Bills in a Video.
Gutted that the site will cease but the .com site will resume we are still in contact, good luck with the archiving and look forward to seeing your results in the future.
Is it possible to archive all the wonderful research that has been done over the years?
There will be a solution Phil and Peter. Not sure what but we are not going to let everyone's collective efforts of 16 years disappear. We are currently working on rescuing and preserving the files. The Heritage motto has always been celebration and sharing so there seem no point in any research unless we have a way of sharing it. We do know that Webs say the site will disappear on 1st September, but their track record with deadlines is such that we wouldn't be surprised to see it hanging around for a bit longer.
Hi Guys,
So sorry to hear the news about the website as from 31st August. Hoping there will be a solution in the end!
Cheers
Phil
So much extensive research which will never be equalled on any other site
Great Picture. Times had to change. Unsuitable for TV.
