First time out

This coming Sunday 20th November, it will be 50years to the date, that I attended my first wrestling show.

I have many memories of wonderful wrestlers and people I have met through the years, several that contribute to this site. i thank you all May i wish you good health and happiness. maybe we shall meet at some time in the future. Till then have a good week till next week. Paul Kaye

I was very much looking forward to Roop versus Giraud, two big Americans clashing, but I recall it being a bit of a damp squib. It was the opening bout and Roop made very short work of Giraud with, if I recall correctly, Giraud retiring in the second round with a shoulder injury.
