I joined the police and went back to Judo. I kinda realised that the pro game, at that time, was dead on its feet in the UK and wrestlers were pretty well controlled. I had great respect for many of the guys. Its a hard job to learn that's for sure. It was a great experience but I had a baby in the way, a wife, who was about to give up work and a mortgage to pay. 30 years in the police. Lots of pavement wrestling to be had there.
I look at footage of 1930 s Pro wrestling. Nowadays they call it mixed martial arts which is something else I got into. I hope the guys are all OK. They were good times.
