Another Huge Wrestler to appear in British Rings in the 1960's and 1970's was the GIANT
GARGANTUA! Standing at 6' 10"-JIM MORAN was nevertheless for me a Capable Wrestler
who was somewhat 'Underrated'!-I saw him a few times-all in good Bouts and I think with
the proper 'Push' he could have been more 'High' Profile in the Sport!-Instead he was more often used as Ring 'Fodder' for the likes of MIKE MARINO who in my View he could probably
have 'taken apart'!!-I'm not sure if Promoters knew 'what to do with him' for the best?
He had a series of Tussels with GWYN DAVIES-then the next thing we know he's TAGGING
with DAVIES as the 'GOLIATHS'- Not many Wrestlers were 6' 10" Tall-so in this Respect
GARGANTUA could have been used as a Fearsome Villain perhaps?-An Unbeatable
Monster maybe?
What do you think of JIM MORAN'S Ring 'Character'?-Also as far as I know he never Fought
for the BRITISH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE?-Did he??
