MAIN MASK
A fascinating look back in time Main Mask. Remember you can use the Twentieth Century Calendar to date your items. It's fortunate you kept your scrapbook and didn't bin it like most of us did You know the saying about standing in Trafalgar Square and eventually you will see everyone you know. Wrestling in Hanley seems like that. Go along on a Saturday night and eventually see all the best wrestlers in the world. Billy Two Rivers seems to have made himself at home there.
As usual my eyes turn to the opposition shows. At the Essoldo Stoke we have Midge Cowan (more of him next week) in with Ivan Penzecoff.
The Scala at Wolverhampton sadly, but not surprisingly, no longer with us. The Granby Hall bills were always good ones.
What a great independent bill at the Kirkgate Club - Garfield, Hunter, Butcher Johnson, Kirkwood, Zolly.... All this and bingo too!
