I don't think this is in London, it says Liberty Cinema, Bradford, which was an Indian cinema from the late 1960's to the early 1980's, on Manningham Lane, in Bradford, which has a very large Indian and Pakistani community.
It also says you can buy tickets in Birmingham, so it could be that the event was in London, but you could buy tickets in advance from Bradford and Birmingham, perhaps.
This is an ad from London’s “Punjab Times” which was presumably sold to the Punjabi community wherever they resided. I’m interpreting it as being a show in Bradford with tickets on sale in Birmingham, both places with significant populations of Punjabi origin.
Small Asian promoters often had shows in former cinemas up to the 19990s.Also open air events at carnivals and festivals
The Indians put their Lodon shows on in Southall.
Ok thank you. It was the "London's Punjab Times" which confused me.
