In the UK, the thin end of the wedge was the Big Daddy (and Catweazle) era, in about 1975.
That's why I'm only really interested in dedicating time now to the time before that, when, to my young eyes at least, it all seem so structured and important - without ever necessarily seeming 100% legit.
You're so right Powerlock, I can't imagine why people would spend their cash on such nonsense.
