few months ago I started a thread about the traditional wrestling styles of Irish people.
I have a new find, which I consider very interesting - Wrestling Championship Match for a Silver Cup, the 1830s. Unfortunately the newspaper didn't specify which kind of wrestling it actually was, 'Collar and Elbow' or 'Shoulder and Hip' (Barrog, Irish Back-Hold). Enjoy the read!
