James had problems logging in and asked us to post this for him.
Looking through the Forum pages I came across an entry which said Dominic Pye was a light worker. I was surprised. Who else was a light worker – and who heavy for that matter? I remember Jack Taylor telling me the lightest worker he came across was Eddie Cappelli. You had to be careful with Cappelli, who would, he said, come across the ring in between rounds and deliver a punishing blow to your neck when your back was turned — except you never heard him coming and never felt it.
Mick was light as was Old Jackie,Chris Bailey,Casanova,Billy Torontos, Tug Holton,Ken Joyce,Kwango,Mike Marino.
Kwango barely made any contact with any of his moves.
Ask Jack Dempsey, Billy Graham, Eric Taylor, Bob Sherry or anyone who wrestled Wigan lads. There were many hard, tough workers who made you work hard yourself to make the bout. As stated in another post, the only wrestler I encountered with a light touch was Cyril Knowles. Eddie Rose
Pallo was known to be a very light worker
I read that McManus was a light worker too
