Dear Friends, thanks for your comments. Reasonable question: which title/which belt. Here's what I have. Yes belt from the photo is the same as was used by Mel Ryss on his promo photos including the famous photo of all weights champs. And yet it's obvious, this is not a Mount Evans Belt. So it cannot be the British title, nor light neither welter.
I would guess at mid to late 1960's or maybe early 70's, going by Jim's hairstyle. I know he had more of a bryclream, "swept back" look, when he was younger. I think other people on the site will be more accurate than me though.
Jim also held European and World belts the former numerous
Clements with Lord Lonsdale Belt.
Vic Faulkner with Lord Lonsdale Belt.
Same belt was used by the Yorkshire Terriers Clements/McMichael, and often on their pics they were shown holding this belt.

Good point Power. As he looked so young ,I presumed his first one.
Not long after 16th October 1963 after he took the belt from Mel Riss at the RAH.
