Jim Noice

Hi All,

Jim Noice was my Grandfather and you are correct he did have links with Athol Oakley and ran the Noiman gym in Southampton.

I believe he was a Judo champion but under which governing body I am not sure. I will try and dig out further information if it’s of any interest!

Typical of Oakeley who brought Carver Doone from a Novel. Dr X had been a 1932 film and Philo Vance was a 1920's/1930's Detective series. Oakeley was the first to use a Ghoul.

Oakeley had the most vivid imagination.
