Finally got around to reading Johnny's excellent book. I never really had an opinion on John as a wrestler one way or the other although I thought the mayhem The Caribbean sunshine boys caused was excellent. After reading about his life and how he grew up I have a lot of respect for John, he certainly never had it easy and went on to make something of himself despite it.
Any opinion on Johnny Kincade?
Oh, and happy xmas to each and every one of you.
I remember when he dyed his hair and all round he had a great look.
Very good wrestler and powerful built guy.
That great conditioning he had has kept him going well.
As he said in the BBC Timeshift Documentary , your face had to fit and the promoter liked control over the wrestlers.
For a long time they held this guy back and I only knew him as Mid Card before I stopped following wrestling live.
It was great to see how well he did after my time as an active fan and so good to see him as the finished article on Youtube.
They badly needed heavyweights like him after 1974.
I read the book when it first came out, I really enjoyed it and will probably read it again. He was a good heavyweight.
Duh! My bad. Sorry John if you're reading. Thanks Bill.
Is he related to Johnny Kinkaid?😊😉.He was a very good worker, and was a bit of a handful.Merry Christmas to you too Leonard
