Klaus-Dieter Kauroff one of the last real old german Catch/Wrestling Legend died yesterday two month before his 80s Birthday. He wrestled the first time in 69 and the last time 93 in vienna. I know that he also was welll known in the british rings. R.I.P.

He was a famous villain and I think he was once described as "Germany's version of Mick McManus", always the bad guy.
He was here in early 1975, as per the posters that Ron has supplied above, and then again later, in Wales, for Orig Williams "Reslo" shows, tagging with Giant Haystacks and others.
Late 1980's/early 1990's he was appearing on TV on Eurosport, that would have been the last time I saw him, I think.
One thing Gernot, it appears his last appearance was in 1996, not 1993, in a tag match in Graz Austria. He partnered with Rene Lasartesse against Otto Wanz and Steve Wright.
RIP Klaus.
RIP Klaus.
That's a great shame.
A big name in the seventies, when I remember him much larger than in your action photo.
Nothing like a German baddie in a UK ring.
