Nice artwork really captures both wrestlers really well. Clearly they both had something special to fill the Royal Albert Hall in their time.
Love a bit of art work , fantastic and of course they met dozens of times times starting I believe in 1952. True TV Stars with the number of people who can remember these times fading away.
April 1962,Jackie Pallo take on The Man Who Loves to Hate,Mick McManus in the infamous needle feud wrestling bouts on ITV's World of Sport up to 11-12 millions of viewers glued to TV Sets more than the F.A Cup final days and ended in the draw 1-1.
Five years later in May 1967,McManus-Pallo fights at The Royal Albert Hall London and in the end Pallo-McManus fighting outside the wrestling ring and referee Max Ward jumped out and sorted the pair and sent Pallo-McManus back into the dressing room.

Fascinating byline: "Regarded by Southern critics as Europe's greatest." Talk about a churlish Yorkshire promoter!
And then he describes him as the most popular tv star. Didn't Norman know he was the man we loved to hate?
Popular! With Mick McMichael on the bill!
Love the caricatures.
"If you were the only girl in the world, and I were the only boy...."
Anyway, that was the warm up bout for the rematch. Spot the same foursome in the car on each bill.
