A coincidence too that I should have mentioned Dick Conlon. Look at the Wests' opponent here; mischievously spelt Dick Conley.

Quite flattering to be copied I suppose. Or maybe the real Dodger Dick - in which case they'd have billed The Artful Dodgers.

Mind you, Bailey was spelt Baily so the lord only knows that they were up to.

I looked at the yellow bill five or six times convinced Mr TV was on and only just spotted the tiny "Junior." Imagine the fans at the time expecting to see the old boy.

I saw him a few times in his year or two of actrivity. He was covered in tattoos at a time when that was rare. Very much reminded me of Dick Conlon in his wrestling style. Had a brother called Jim West but I don't recall them tagging.
