Several years this site produced a list of the top 100 wrestlers with the most TV appearances. Is this list preserved somewhere?I have attempted to locate it without success.
Peter, we have a never ending battle with web space and sometimes quietly remove pages that we think have run their course and don't stand up to the test of time.
The Top 100 TV Wrestlers pages have long gone, but we've put together the original text for you. John continues with his research and updates his site so there may have been some changes, but these are likely to be amongst the lower ranks.
Yes Peter, there seemed a stock of lighter weighted wrestlers highly rated by Kent Walton, but were rarely victorious on TV during the 1960’s. Mick McMichael, Al Nicol, Leon Fortuna, Jeff Kaye and Terry Jowett spring instantly to mind. However, their bouts, invariably against the popular wrestlers of the day, were always entertaining.
Al Miquet and Joseph Zaranof are the only two in the top one hundred without a match on You Tube
Thanks for finding this. Well worth preserving

TV's Top 100 Wrestlers
I agree. Leon Fortuna was a household name, in my memory.
Amazing that Mick McMichael was a noted loser but ended up in the top five for TV appearances
I've been doing some updating of 60's TV results lately. Hopefully will be able to share that in the near future.
Thanks for the link
