I watched the film and felt that for me the lengthy "shoot" interview Adrian did a few years ago was much more informative - especially as that interview deals at length with his British years. I can understand why Adrian wanted to make a film for a much wider audience, people other than British wrestling fans. What I found disappointing was that many of the contributors had probably not seen Adrian wrestle live (especially in the UK). What I found moving was the close relationship between Adrian and Linda as well as the lovely things his sister and his son said about him. I have read all of Adrian's books (and was mentioned in one of them). I first saw Adrian wrestle at Liverpool Stadium in 1978. He is a truly good man and a brilliant wrestler. We can't blame him for making a film that doesn't exactly suit our interests but will get much wider attention.
