The old school Olympic wrestling was so much fun because it actually was the Lancashire style of wrestling known as catch as catch can.

1906 was retrospectively not regarded as an Olympics but as Intercalated Games although the Opening/Closing ceremonies were the forerunner of the present day.I overlooked the pre First World War Paris/London Games
