Funnily enough, only last week I was watching "The Punch and Judy Man" on Talking Pictures. Received unfavourably by critics at the time, it now comes across as a leisurely, beautifully-paced film and the interaction between Tony Hancock and John Le Mesurier is sublime. I also recall, although I have not seen it for some years, "Postman's Knock" which was an attempt to make Spike Milligan into a leading man who gets the girl at the end (Barbara Shelley I think). When I was growing up, Mario Fabrizi seemed to turn up everywhere.

Tibor must have hated these tourneys, always having to do three bouts, never allowed to be the hero unluckily injured in the opening round.
