Blow me! What does that tell us about Deveraux Promotions? The White Phantoms had been undefeated against all the top teams - Hells Angels, McManus & Logan - yet here they are losing their mystery in a 1 v 2 match with Mr X. Seems crazy, but Al tells us this was the last show at their flagship London venue, and therefore this was probably the beginning of Deveraux's end as a serious force in promoting.
We'll have to rewrite Tag-Team-Time but what we really need is a photo of these White Phantoms.
Making a few quid overseas today, in 1976, Mal Kirk took Micha Nador to a time limit draw, in Offenburg, Germany.
On out TV screens, on this day in 1965: -
Ivan Josef Zaranoff (W) v Carlos Rocha
Adrian Street (1) v Leon Fortuna (1)
Steve Logan (KO) v Ivan Penzekoff
