I don't think we can say it was nonexistent as it did seem to exist. However, the likelihood of any wrestling fans knowing or caring about its existence outside of Warrington is minimal.

But that's how pro wrestling (Lancashire style) historically worked, I mentioned that before, there was a time when there were no national or international titles of any kind in existence, just challenge titles (trophies) associated with certain sporting arenas, lets say the Snipe Inn Cup or the Copenhagen Grounds Belt and etc. So having very local Warrington's Parr Hall based promotion (Open Championship Belt) which lasted for 2 years or so, is pretty normal.
