I am fascinated to see The Walfamstow Bear billed from Barking, so this must have been one of his very first outings. He gets the e m e r g e n c y f o n t treatment that I know Main Mask loves spotting.
So without consulting the Heritage calendar, I feel secure in saying this must have been 1970; and this deduction leads me to a more substantial surprise.
