Sorry to correct you Main Mask but I don't think that The Ghoul " tossed his opponents in the air". He would not have got the purchase if the opponent was moving, Also many opponents were too heavy to be tossed around. The many times that I saw the blow delivered the opponent was either standing or kneeling before The Ghoul.
Keep showing the old bills they are very interesting.
In the 50's there was very little media coverage and fans didn't know about all these times that different people met each other.
Later in years you can see how all the different routines were built up, but at the time we thought that it was a "one-off".
