Royals losing on tv! Brilliant!
Must have set up scores of return bouts around the halls.
Working overseas today, John Cox and Colin Joynson teamed up with Spanish Wrestler, Luis Enrique Edo Juan, in a losing tag team effort against local lads, Toyonobori, Thunder Sugiyama and the Great Kusatsu, in Tokyo, Japan, on this day in 1968.
On our TV screens, on this day in 1971:-
Kendo Nagasaki (W) v Roy St Clair
Bert Royal/Vic Faulkner (DQ) v Alan Dennison/Ted Heath

Ih know George Bradfield was Farmer's Boy and later The Farmer. I also know younger brother Harry has often been said to have initially been known as Farmers Boy but never found evidence. This is the first time I've come across Harry as Young Farmers Boy.
That tag match would have been appealing.
But there's a but coming ....
But I remember the colour and excitement of Brian Dixon posters in the 1970s. Now this one in Hemel Hempstead looks no more interesting than a Dale Martin poster, it's all very formulaic and run of the mill.
