I can remember quite a few but one that particulary tickled me was when Bill Howes was billed as,'' as fit as a butchers dog''. Are there any that stand out in your memory?
When I asked Ezra to appear for me at the Parr Hall, Warrington, I asked him to bring his Witchdoctor gear and he was amused to see on the poster, "Turned his previous opponent into a frog". He was less amused but took it in his stride when he turned up to wrestle for me at Walsall Football Club on The Pleck to find himself billed as Banana Bill with the byline under his name, "All the ladies love a banana." He played along with it however even to the extent of making his way to the ring with a bunch of bananas which I had purchased from a local greengrocer and handing them out to ladies sitting at ringside.
The Wild Man Of Borneo. "The Man Who Ate His Neighbours Dog"!
Portsmouth’s Hercules, Adonis Bob Kirkwood.
Just spotted Pasquale Salvo on Main Mask's handbill described as "THE HATED ANGLO ITALIAN."
Very unusual to see such outspoken language; usually "controversial" was as far as they went.

I think your Trowell bill was compiled with great care, Ron. Sounds like Woodhouse language?
My favourite was for Aussie the Butcher in 1937 "a nice matman who nobody likes"
Have a chuckle at the details here.
