This last weekend as an addition to a visit to Durham Cathedral I attended a live event of the small Indy Promotion North Wrestling. The admittedly small venue Riverside was packed to the doors. It was great to be in a city with such a long tradition of live events and to see so many young fans keeping the tradition ongoing into the future

Find it really surprising the All Star Website is not fully informative

These shows are not shown in the events section of the All Star website
I was hoping someone could tell us.
Could it be Brian Dixon.
All star Super Slam Wrestling and on at new Brighton as well from what I can see.
no promoter listed and no wrestlers named as far as I can see. I wonder who the company is.
Nothing to do with Newcastle , but to do with wrestling today.
I used to see the wrestling bills round Rhyl prom in the early 1960's.
I was in Rhyl today and could not resist taking a photo.
Wrestling survives in Rhyl.
North Wrestling return to this venue 14 September 2019
Yes just a handful of seats and they were upstairs
I am glad you enjoyed it, its normally a standing venue and I cannot do standing venues at the moment
Very impressive with wrestlers from the States, Netherlands and Germany as well as closer to home.
How was the wrestling?
The riverside isn't that small, I reckon with the ring it's about 500-600. Without the ring its around 800 I have seen both wrestling and music at that venue
