We Continue Our Series Highlighting Very Seldom Seen Wrestling Bouts:-
Top Liners didn't Often Appear in Opposite Corners to One Another if NEITHER Hardly Ever
Lost!!
But here's Another Obscure Example where This happened!-
For Decades LES KELLETT was Always a Winner-to My Best Knowledge he Only Ever Lost
TWICE on T.V.-to PETER RANN and to LEE SHARRON- and Similarly RICKI STARR was
Invariably The Victor in his Matches!
So here We Find Them Facing Each Other at BRIGHTON!-1965!
Don't Remember Any Other Contests Between These Two?-Can RON find more??
Of course-This will have been a Drawn Match?-Or No Score-Or Double K.O. Methinks!
MAIN MASK

Maybe as suggested , kept to the Nook and Crannies.
Nelson and Brierley Hill are other examples.
You must be right there! I can't think of anyone who wrestled Les frequently enough to top Ricki.
Mmm, I wonder who came second?
Well, considering we reckon Logan and Kellett fought hundreds of times, if Logan claimed only 5% as victories, he would indeed top Ricki. And maybe he did defeat Les in various rematch scenarios?
Your surprise is very interesting. I was similarly surprised when this came to light over 15 years ago. This tells us the promoters deliberately kept these clashes away from tv and major venues from where news could travel.
Well I Never ANGLO!-I'm somewhat surprised at that!
Must have been the Opponent who Chalked-Up the Most Wins against
KELLETT?-In all the Live Bouts I saw LES Wrestle-I can't Recall seeing
him Lose!!
MM
They had more than a dozen bouts:
Kellett never won and lost about half the matches via KO.
