I wonder if anyone else has noticed the increase in local wrestling shows on offer? I have been to 3 shows from 3 different companies no more than 15 miles from home in the last month. What has been good to see is an emphasis in building on previous shows giving matches some meaning. I wonder if promoter cooperation may be next as the likes of Joel Redmam are already working across promotions.

n some of the larger cities it is possible to attend two events in one weekend without travelling too far
Paul, I think wrestling is the best it has been for many years at the moment and there are certainly more shows than ever going on now. Many promoters are putting shows on in the same towns which is great for the local fans and every week you see numerous posts on social media saying shows are selling out across the UK. Last weekend one promoter had over 1000 fans in attendance whilst another had over 500. I know a lot of older fans dont have any interest in todays wrestling and thats fine, its a different product from back in the day, but one thing is for certain many promoters are once again putting on entertaining shows and that can only be a good thing.
