This is being shown on FORCES TV anyway yesterday was episode 14 with guest star ALFIE BASS as a wrestling promoter. One of his wrestlers in JACKIE PALLO you see him in a few scenes as a few lines to say, this was filmed circa 1978. It’s quite amusing you see Bass giving Pallo a pep talk who is the good guy wrestler and you see him apply a few holds. Did not recognise the other wrestler but probably an actor. I am sure it is repeated at weekend if any of you are interested. This series is interesting as it is filmed on location mainly London, Rome and it’s fascinating to see just from a historical view of life way back then.

IMDB says that Jackie Pallo junior played "Terry" in that episode, but was billed as "Jackie Pallo", so I am not quite sure what is going on there, without seeing the episode.
I liked him too and he was very talented. He was good in this Saint episode. I think career wise he got a bit pigeon holed into comedy roles once you’ve been a big success they try and keep you in similar roles at same time as this Saint he filmed OUR MUTUAL FRIEND for the BBC a Dicken’s novel in which he plays a chilling role as a black mailer and he is really good. 😃
Admittedly nothing to do with wrestling, but I was a huge fan of Alfie Bass. I was a bit too young for "The Army Game" but I loved spinoff "Bootsie and Snudge" and their adventures each week at The Imperial Club with Robert Dorning as Hon Sec and Clive Dunn (the youngest of the four) as Old Johnson. Bass also surprised many with his singing voice when Topol left the West End production of "Fiddler On The Roof" and he took over the main role.
Was Jackie Junior in his late forties in 1978? On the credits at the end I think it said Jackie Pallo not Junior only saying.
I thought it was Jackie junior.
